| Digital Imagery Management Veterans Named to Senior Management Team at ASR
ADAM Systems Group of ASR to Provide Advanced Digital Asset Management Solutions to Entertainment, Surveillance
and Medical Markets

Advanced Software Resources, Inc. today announced the formation of the ADAM Systems Group
and the expansion of its senior management team with the appointments of three industry veterans.
Richard Maestas will head up the business unit as its General Manager and Robert Schreiner will
assume the position of Chief Technology Officer. Previously, Mr. Maestas and Mr. Schreiner held
executive positions at Lockheed Martin.

formed to address the growing need for storing, processing, managing and redistributing rich
media files within the entertainment, geospatial, and medical imaging markets,” said

staff includes seasoned hardware and software pioneers in the digital revolution and experts
in the latest digital media technologies. The Group’s ADAM Systems comprise off-the-shelf
and proprietary technologies used in the management of high value digital assets for mission
critical government applications for over fifteen years. “The time is right for us
to leverage our expertise for developing proven customized and scalable digital asset management
solutions into the commercial sector.”
Mr. Maestas will manage business and operational aspects for the ADAM Systems Group and
develop the Group’s strategy and long range plan. Mr. Schreiner will serve as strategic
architect for the technology and product line, responsible for technological innovation,
system design and overall leadership of the Group’s engineering, technical operations
and system integration activities.

About Richard Maestas
Mr. Maestas has thirty-two years of progressively responsible positions within Lockheed Martin’s
Space System Division Special Programs; including Guidance and Control of US Air Force satellite
launch vehicles, satellite vehicle system engineering, integration and operation of complex
space systems; and the development, integration and operation of high speed high capacity
image processing systems for the US Government. Mr. Maestas was also responsible for directing
the development of commercial high speed image processing systems for the US government and
foreign government customers.
About Robert Schreiner
Mr. Schreiner’s experience spans more than seventeen years in technology innovation,
project management, hardware and software development, digital electronics design and complex
systems architecture and integration at Lockheed Martin. During his tenure, he played key
roles in the development and implementation of pioneering digital technologies and revolutionary
system designs for processing, manipulation, distribution, and archival of digital data.
He most recently served as Chief System Architect at Lockheed Martin’s Space Systems
Division, responsible for advanced development and product evolution planning for the company’s
digital imagery management systems, as well as providing technical direction to hardware,
software and systems engineering organizations. Mr. Schreiner is credited with the visionary
insight and technical expertise which led to the evolution of Lockheed Martin’s imagery
management technology to a digital video processing and management capability of unparalleled
performance, thereby enabling a multitude of new market applications. To complement his vast
technical and managerial skills, Mr. Schreiner has led major proposal and technical sales
efforts, acting as the primary customer interface for system delivery and performance. These
customer-focused broad market activities have been key to his ongoing success in the creation
of advanced technology and architectural innovation.
