ADAM Systems can receive digital rich media files in standard
formats, or be integrated into a larger system that receives or
converts imagery, voice and video to digital formats. ADAM Systems software
automatically catalogs the incoming data by stripping any metadata
(information about the file) from it to facilitate tracking and
retrieval. Metadata fields are customer-defined, and additional
inputs can be made manually, as desired.
ADAM Systems software automatically pushes incoming data to the
prescribed recipients or next-in-line recipients of a uniquely
defined production workflow. ADAM Systems screens all query and retrieval
requests for requestors’ access privileges to any customer-defined
data type, resolution or source, denying access as appropriate. All
transactions in ADAM Systems are recorded in a permanent log that
tracks retrieval, creation and input of derived rich media products,
and associated source material. As the number of files grow and age,
ADAM Systems monitors their use and age to ensure steps are taken to
preserve the data intact.

We employ a multi-phase approach to assess the customers needs
and infrastructure, propose conceptual solutions, and in close
interaction with the customer, arrive at the appropriate initial,
scalable hardware and software configuration. For larger
installations, a hierarchy of disk, tape, and shelf is employed to
contain storage costs while maximizing data availability.

The customer-tailored solution is typically assembled and tested
in our labs prior to shipment and installation at the customer’s
facility. The customer’s staff is trained in its use and
